Ms. Gomez

My name is Ms. Gomez and I teach 3rd Grade Dual Language. I feel honored to work with students as they develop language skills in English and Spanish.  I graduated from  Queens College and received my masters and teaching certification in elementary education with a dual language extension. Immediately after, I began teaching in East Elmhurst Community School and have been in the building for 8 years. My goal is to create a supportive classroom where students feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. I believe bilingualism is a superpower, and I look forward to partnering with families to help every student shine! I  enjoy traveling, the fine arts, nature and sports.
