Ms. Huerta

My name is Giselle Huerta and I am a Special Education 5th grade teacher at East Elmhurst Community School. I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Forensic Psychology with a minor in counseling. Subsequently, I earned my Master of Science in Education from Hunter College, specializing in General and Special Education. I began my teaching experience by tutoring and then becoming a substitute teacher for two years. I also host a jewelry lunch club every week.
