Ms. Vogelle
My name is Lana Vogelle and I'm excited to be joining the PS 329 family as a 5th Grade teacher! This is my 10th year being a proud public school teacher in the city, but my first year in Queens. Since starting, I've taught in the upper grades, primarily 5th grade and specializing in ELA. I attended Bloomsburg University for my Bachelors degree in Education and then attended Hunter College for my Masters in Literacy. When I'm not busy teaching reading, you can usually find me reading for fun. I'm a firm believer that reading is a tool for personal growth and a way to gain empathy. As an educator, I strive to empower my students in finding confidence in their ideas, support them academically and emotionally, and nurture their creativity by creating a space for them to grow and become independent thinkers. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and going to concerts and movies. Enter your text here...
