Esther Buchinger

Hi, My name is Talia Buchinger. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from NYU and have been working at the Department of Education, as a physical therapist, in both Regional and D75 sites for 13 years. I also work as a SIT (Senior Instructional Therapist), mentoring other physical therapists within the DOE. I love treating, working with, and interacting with children. I find it very rewarding to celebrate the small and big accomplishments made during physical therapy sessions with my students. It is a collaborative process between families, other related service providers, and teachers which takes a lot of work. However, the physical accomplishments and increased confidence seen in my students makes it worthwhile and fulfilling. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, and traveling.
